One of a kind cuttlefish cast pendant. This solid Sterling silver bar has been formed using the traditional cuttlefish casting technique. A hollow is carved into the soft calcified grain of the cuttlefish bone. Molten silver is then poured into the chamber, picking up the organic ridged texture of the "lamellae", the delicate horizontal plates of the bone. The resulting texture is reminiscent of rippling water or wind swept sand.
